The contracts, which are currently out to bid, include the infrastructure contract for Jubail University College, covering 1.3 million square metres, the design for two major interchanges in the commercial area, and a site preparation contract for the 2.5-million-square-metre residential area, Mutrafiah.
The contracts are expected to be awarded in August, September and October respectively.
Also due to be awarded in the third quarter this year is the site development work for Jubail 2, Stage 3, which covers 10 square kilometres. The scope includes ground preparation and infrastructure works for water, industrial waste water, sanitation water, power cabling and roads.
The client is the Royal Commission for Jubail & Yanbu.
