

UAE-based Khazna Data Centers has signed an agreement with the local Benya Group to enter the Egyptian data centre market.
The two companies plan to build a state-of-the-art data centre worth $250m at the Maadi Technology Park in Cairo. It will be Egypt's first hyper-scale data centre, with a projected capacity of 25 MW of IT load.
The project is the first in a series of hyper-scale data centres planned for the Egyptian market. The construction of the new data centre is expected to commence later this year, with completion targeted for within the next three years.
The new facility marks Khazna's commitment to expanding its operations beyond the UAE and reinforcing its growth strategy into international markets.
