Dr Vijay Mallya, chairman of United Breweries Group, owner of Kingfisher Airlines, told the Gulf Daily News that the carrier would fly to Bahrain 'if there is enough economic justification,' otherwise, the company would wait until 'the economy gets better'. Currently, Kingfisher flies to 77 destinations, including a few international routes to London Heathrow Airport and to Colombo. Mallya added that he is also looking to Dubai as a possible destination.
