Kuwait agriculture authority issues warehouse tender

Kuwait’s Public Authority for Agriculture & Fish Resources (PAAF) has issued a tender for the construction of eight warehouses in the Ardiya district of the country.

The client has prequalified a number of local contractors, including Mohammed Abdulmohsin al-Kharafi & Sons Company, Combined Group Contracting Company, Mushrif Trading & Contracting Company and United Gulf Construction Company.

A bid deadline has been set for 22 March, although according to one contractor looking to bid for the work, this will be extended by one month to 21 April.

The work has an estimated value of KD10m ($34m).

Ardiya is located close to Kuwait City, near Kuwait International Airport.
