Contractor will replace 300 power lines across country
Electromechanical group Emeco has been awarded a KD17.4m ($57.7m) contract to replace overhead power lines across Kuwait.
The contract was awarded by the Ministry of Electricity & Water and will be carried out over the next 34 months, according to statement on Kuwait News Agency (Kuna).
The contract includes replacing 300 132-kilovolt power lines and is expected to result improving electrical capacity.
