Sabah al-Ahmed Z4 substation to have a capacity of 11/132/400kV
Kuwait’s Ministry of Electricity & Water has awarded a contract to build a substation at Sabah al-Ahmed to Saudi Arabia’s National Contracting Company (NCC).
The Sabah al-Ahmed Z4 substation will have a capacity of 11/132/400kV. Bids to build the project were submitted in September 2011. NCC’s contract is worth KD19.32m ($68m).
Along with power generation, construction and water/wastewater, power transmission and distribution is one of NCC’s core competencies.
