Groups now have until 19 September to submit bids
Kuwait’s Public Works Ministry has extended the bid deadline for a contract to build the headquarters for the Public Authority for Minor Affairs in Kuwait City to 19 September.
The previous submission date was 8 August. The winning contractor will build and maintain the main headquarters building and car parking facilities.
The 17 prequalified contractors are all local. They are:

- Combined Group Contracting
- Al-Fulaij United Group General Trading & Contracting Company
- Kuwaiti General Trading & Contracting Company
- Boodai Construction Company
- Real Estate Construction & Fabrication Company
- Ahmadiah Contracting & Trading Company
- Kuwait Company for Process Plant Construction & Contracting
- Mushrif Trading & Contracting Company
- Arab Kuwait Contractors Company
- Burhan International Construction Company
- Canar Trading & Contracting Company
- Kharafi Construction Company
- Sadeem al-Kuwait General Trading & Contracting Company
- Bayan National Trading Company
- Syed Hamid Behbani & Sons
- Al-Hani Construction & Trading Company
The ministry has also tendering another contract to build government facilities in the governorate of Hawally, located south-east of Kuwait City.
Prequalified contractors have until 14 September to submit bids for the contract to build and maintain the Hawally Governorate Security Directorate Building (MEED 12:7:10).
The prequalified contractors are all local. They are:
