The South Jahran Labour City project is set to be developed under the countrys PPP law and the regulations of the Ministry of Housing and the Kuwait Authority for Partnership Projects (KAPP).
The EOI notice states that private developers will be responsible for the design, financing, construction, operation, maintenance and transfer of the development.
The project will be built on a land area of approximately 1 million square metres and will comprise residential areas, commercial and retail services, community services, as well as municipal and utilities services.
