Contractors are told they have until 24 May to submit prices
State upstream operator Kuwait Oil Company (KOC) has extended the bid deadline for its project to construct manifolds and associated works in south and east Kuwait.
Contractors have been told they now have until 24 May to submit their bids.
Scope for the project includes:
- 20 remote header manifold with capability to connect 30 incoming flowlines with multi-phase pump, multi-phase flow meter and all associated works
- 20 remote header manifold with capability to connect 18 incoming flowlines with Multi Phase Flow Meter and all associated works for SEK GCs as specified in the Technical Specifications and Drawings
- 20 pipeline (approx. 4,000 metres each) from each remote header manifold to the gathering centre with provision for pigging and tie-in to the gathering centre
Before the bid deadline was delayed the project was expected to see its main contract awarded in July 2015 with commissioning in July 2017.
