The deadline has been extended to 4 November
State upstream operator Kuwait Oil Company has extended the bid deadline for the estimated $300m contract to build and expand small boat harbours.
The deadline has been extended from 14 October to 4 November.
MEED reported in June that engineering firms had until 2 September to submit proposals.
The harbour project supports Kuwait’s expansion in oil production and export capacity. It will involve the building of a new small boat harbour at North Pier, as well as the refurbishment and expansion of the existing harbour at the South Pier.
The North Pier harbour will involve the construction of 18 berths for large craft, a landing area for boats of 60 metres in length and bunker loading points.
