Kuwait’s Arraya Tower has officially become the world’s 43rd tallest building. The 60-storey, 300-metre high, tower was confirmed as the fourth tallest building completed in the world in 2009 by the Council on Tall Buildings and Urban Habitat (CTBUH) in late January.

The tallest building in Kuwait, designed by American architect Curtis Fentress, was completed last year in partnership with the local Pan Arab Consulting Engineers (PACE). Fentress also recently received an international design award for his work on two towers next to the Burj Khalifa, the world’s tallest building, in Dubai.
