
Lebanon's central bank governor has said the country may sell a 25% stake in its national carrier, Middle East Airlines, in an initial public offering, Reuters has reported. Riad Salameh said the proposed sale would have to be done after the end of the current economic slowdown and when a new Lebanese government approves the IPO plans and the listing of shares on the Beirut bourse.
