Anchored on an artificial island in the Bahrain Bay, the H-shaped silhouette of the luxury Four Seasons Hotel has reshaped Manamas skyline.
Standing 202 metres tall and commanding awe-inspiring views of the citys skyline and the Gulf, the hotel is the latest addition to Bahrains hospitality industry, and a shining beacon of contemporary design.
The hotel is anchored by the tower element, which consists of two structural piers with multiple component floors between the piers. The guestrooms component consists of 17 floors occupying the central area and the portion straddling the concrete tower piers, which were cladded with precast panels.
There are 216 rooms, 55 luxury suites, a royal suite and a presidential suite, public spaces, a business centre and event facilities (with two ballrooms), service and support areas, and five-star amenities including five swimming pools, a spa and fitness centre, and Michelin-starred restaurants.
The hotel has a penthouse-level Sky Pod restaurant, which gives an extensive view of the Gulf.
Already known for its unique architectural design and finishing, the Four Seasons hotel has not only raised the standards of the hospitality industry in Bahrain, but has also received attention on a global scale, bolstering the countrys tourism industry.
