The local Al-Basti & Muktha has been awarded the AED550m ($150m) contract to build the Empower headquarters building in Dubai.
The project involves the construction of a 20-storey office building in the Jadaf area close to Emarat petrol station and the Police Officers club and opposite the Grand Cineplex and the Grand Hyatt. The total built-up area is about 79,000 square metres.
The consultant is Lebanon’s Khatib & Alami. Dubai-based Emirates Central Cooling Systems (Empower) is the client.
