The importance of LTE deployment in the Middle East has been played down by telecoms firm Ericsson. Speaking to AMEinfo.com at the Telecoms World Middle East conference, Anders Lindblad, president and head of Middle East, Ericsson said: “Today, I would say it is good enough with 3G. There are so many other constraints in the value chain. There are very few countries that are mature enough to do a full LTE deployment.”
