Owners and representatives of private schools and training centres in the Saudi city of Madinah have held their first meeting to set up a committee at the Madinah Chamber of Commerce and Industry (MCCI) to support them and cater to their needs, Arab News has reported. There are about 60 private schools and training centers in Madinah. The private schools currently represent about 11% of the number of schools in all parts of the kingdom, but under the plan of the education ministry, this ratio would be raised to 25%.
