Main package out on Beirut Four Seasons

The main package on the Beirut Four Seasons hotel project has been issued for bid, with contractors preparing to submit quotes on 7 November. At least 15 local and international contractors have bought tender documents for the contract, which covers the structure, fit-out and cladding for the new 33-storey hotel located in Solidere's hotel district.

The centrepiece of the $55 million main package will be the construction of a 90-metre reinforced concrete tower, which will house the 300-room hotel. The enabling works package was carried out by Germany's Bauer. The consultant on the project is Beirut-based Dar al-Handasah (Shair & Partners).
