Majed al-Mansoori

Biography: Majed al-Mansoori is the chairman of Adac, the client for the Midfield Terminal project. He was appointed to the position in June 2012. He is also the chairman of Abu Dhabi’s Department of Municipal Affairs and a member of the Executive Council.

After graduating with a bachelor of science degree in urban planning from Alabama A&M University in the US, Al-Mansoori began his professional career with the Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (Adnoc) in 1994. He served in various positions, including head of occupational hygiene.

In 1999, al-Mansoori left Adnoc to become the secretary general of the Environmental Research and Wildlife Development Agency (ERWDA), which has since changed its name to the Environment Agency Abu Dhabi (EAD). Al-Mansoori remains a member of the executive committee of the EAD.
