German commercial vehicle manufacturer MAN and Saudi Arabian importer Haji Husein Alireza have opened a truck assembly plant in Jeddah, Khaleej Times has reported. The joint project will initially assemble MAN TGA-WW trucks and semi-trailer tractors for the local market. THe plant is designed to produce 3,000 vehicles a year in single-shift operation.
