Marco Mignogna

Biography: Marco Mignogna is president of the management board for Eurogate Tanger, a consortium of companies that operates terminal 2 at Tanger Med port. Eurogate Tanger comprises a joint venture of Germany’s Eurogate and Italy’s Contship Italia, along with CMA CGM and Mediterranean Shipping Company.

The group won the 30-year concession in 2005. Terminal 2 started operations in July 2008 and forms part of phase 1 of the port development, which provides a combined total of 3 million TEUs of container capacity.

Mignogna was appointed to help with Tanger Med in April 2009, having left Contship Italia where he worked between 2005 and 2009. He was previously involved in other Italian ports, including Terminal Darsena Toscana and La Spezia Container terminal. Mignogna holds an engineering degree from the University of Pisa in Italy.
