Mark Weichold
Position: Dean, Texas A&M University at Qatar
Biography: Mark Weichold holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees, and a doctorate from Texas A&M University in electrical engineering.
He worked for Motorola and the US Army Electronic Technology & Devices Laboratory before joining the electrical engineering faculty at Texas A&M in 1982. Weichold holds the rank of professor and became dean of Texas A&M Qatar in January 2007.
He is a member of the American Physical Society and the American Vacuum Society.
