MASCO Energy has announced the establishment of MASCO Pipelines, a strategic joint venture with CIS Gaz Arabia, marking a significant milestone in the company’s growth strategy and expanding its engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) capabilities into specialised pipeline infrastructure solutions.
The joint-venture agreement was signed by Omar Algetha’an, CEO of MASCO Energy, and Sebastian Horatiu Calugar, group CEO of CIS Gaz, reflecting the shared strategic vision of both organisations to deliver world-class pipeline infrastructure solutions across the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
The new venture combines MASCO Energy’s proven EPC expertise, strong local market presence and project execution capabilities with CIS Gaz Arabia’s internationally recognised pipeline engineering, construction, maintenance, integrity management and specialised technical expertise.
Combined expertise
Together, the partners have established a dedicated company focused on delivering integrated pipeline solutions that support Saudi Arabia’s growing investment in oil and gas, petrochemicals, industrial facilities and strategic infrastructure projects.
The establishment of MASCO Pipelines represents an important step in MASCO Energy’s long-term strategy to expand its portfolio through specialised business lines that complement its core EPC operations and provide greater value to clients across the energy sector.
As a Saudi EPC company, MASCO Energy has continued to strengthen its position by delivering integrated engineering, procurement and construction services while investing in specialised capabilities that respond to evolving market needs.
The launch of MASCO Pipelines further enhances the company’s ability to provide comprehensive infrastructure solutions across the entire project lifecycle.
For CIS Gaz Arabia, the joint venture reinforces its long-term commitment to the Saudi market by combining its international pipeline expertise with a strong Saudi partner. The company brings extensive experience in pipeline engineering, construction, rehabilitation, commissioning, testing, maintenance and asset integrity, enabling MASCO Pipelines to deliver technically advanced solutions that meet the highest international standards.
Broader vision
Beyond pipeline infrastructure, the joint venture reflects MASCO Energy’s broader vision of building complementary business platforms that strengthen its integrated service offering.
MASCO Pipelines will integrate advanced technology and artificial intelligence-driven solutions across its operations, enabling smarter project delivery, enhanced asset monitoring and data-informed decision-making throughout the pipeline. This positions the joint venture at the forefront of innovation in Saudi Arabia’s energy infrastructure sector.
The partnership also upholds the highest standards of safety and quality, with both organisations committed to embedding rigorous safety practices and quality assurance frameworks across every project – ensuring the protection of people, assets and the environment.
The partnership supports the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030 by contributing to local capability development, technology transfer, local content enhancement and the delivery of world-class infrastructure that supports the kingdom’s long-term economic and industrial growth.
