Abu Dhabi’s Masdar has been appointed to install a solar rooftop system for the Khazna Data Centre in Masdar City.

The renewable energy company will install a 290-kilowatt (KW) photovoltaic (PV) solar system on the car park of the Khazna Data Centre. The project will be a pilot project for possible future clean energy projects at the Khazna site.

Khazna is the only dedicated commercial wholesale data centre in the UAE.
