MEED Quality Awards for Projects 2011: Industrial Project of the Year

As Gulf governments look to diversify their economies, huge investment is being ploughed into developing industrial capabilites.

The MEED Quality Award for Industrial Project of the Year aims to recognise innovative and unique approaches to projects of all sizes. Best practice and high standards in health and safety and training are essential to a high quality industrial project.

The criteria

  • Projects that can be nominated for these categories include:
  • Industrial sites for any purpose, new and updated
  • Manufacturing and packaging, material and processing plants

Those submitting project nominations should use the official online entry form to supply information on the five factors in the delivery of the project:

  • Economic and social feasibility
  • Architecture and design
  • Engineering
  • Construction procurement and project management
  • Environmental impact and sustainable development
