IDC has said that growth in the PC market in the Middle East during the third quarter of 2010 maintained positive trends in the back-to-school season and came in line with forecasts at 12.4%. The three largest countries in the Middle East and Africa (MEA) region, Turkey, UAE, and South Africa, all reported double-digit growth, IDC said. “MEA also witnessed a stronger rise in notebook sales thanks to demand from both businesses and consumers,” Stefania Lorenz, research director, IDC CEMA said.
