More than 300 facilities have already been built by Modon in 30 industrial cities across Saudi Arabia
The Saudi Industrial Property Authority (Modon) has built more than 300 ready-made factories to service the kingdoms growing manufacturing sector.
Speaking at the Saudi Downstream 2014 conference in Yanbu, Saleh al-Rasheed, director-general of Modon, says there is huge demand for such facilities from companies wanting to quickly start up operations.
The factories have been constructed across Modons 30 existing and under-development cities, in locations including Riyadh, Jeddah and Dammam, as well as in more remote areas, such as Hail and Tabuk. Each factory has an area of about 1,500 square metres and are designed to accommodate small conversion companies.
