Modon signs five contracts for second industrial city in Dammam

Modon, Saudi Arabia’s industrial development arm has signed five contracts valued at SR420m ($112m) for the development of industrial sites within Dammam’s second industrial city.

The contracts were signed with five local firms.

Saudi German Plastics Manufacturing Company signed a SR176m contract for a 21,000-square-metre area to produce plastic goods.

Al-Mutlaq Service & Manufacturing Company has signed a SR80m contract for a 26,000-square-metre site to produce automotive spare parts.

The third contract, worth SR60m was signed by Teikyo Middle East Electricity Company Factory for the development of a 34,000-square-metre site for the production of rotary motors. Vital Chemicals Factory was awarded the fourth contract of SR54m, covering an area of 43,000 square metres which will be used for the production of laboratory materials.

The fifth contract, valued at SR47m, was awarded to Company Factory for Pipe Projects, for 75,000 square metres of land to produce pipe lining.
