Biography: Mohammed al-Jadaan is the co-founder of Al-Jadaan & Partners, a law firm active in the kingdom since 1996.

Al-Jadaan is one of the top lawyers in Saudi Arabia and over the past years has worked on some of the biggest deals in the kingdom.

Recent projects include working with banks on the financing of the SR12.5bn ($3.3bn) Princess Noura University in Riyadh, and advising on sukuk (Islamic bond) issues by Saudi Basic Industries Corporation and Saudi Electricity Company.

Al-Jadaan advised local contractor Saudi Binladin Group (SBG) on the SR1.5bn financing for the development of part of the Abraj al-Bait complex in Mecca.

He also advised the UK’s HSBC on its work for SBG and the sale of a SR700m sukuk. Al-Jadaan sits on the advisory board to the Supreme Economic Council and on the board of directors of Morgan Stanley Saudi Arabia.
