Momentum Logistics, a subsidiary of Sharjah-based port operator Gulftainer, has announced the opening of a new office in Erbil, Northern Iraq. The new office is tasked with coordinating with Gulftainer’s other group and partner companies, particularly Demas in Turkey and South Oasis in Southern Iraq (Umm Qasr), to ensure that cargo can be delivered by air, sea or land to anywhere in Iraq. This is Momentum’s fourth office to open in 2010, following those in Abu Dhabi, Dubai, and Zakho, which is also in Northern Iraq.
