Global online employment portal, Monster.com has said its Employment Index Middle East rose 29% on annual basis in January 2012, while the UAE registered 24% annually for the same period, Wam has reported. The Banking, Financial Services & Insurance (BFSI) sector (up 52%) was the fastest moving sector as employers continued to hire the third consecutive month, followed by Education (up 45%) and Healthcare (up 27%) which remained among the top growth sectors in January. Advertising, Market Research, Public Relations, Media and Entertainment (up 33%) exhibited reasonably improved hiring trends over January 2011, the firm said.
