Biography: Prior to his current position, Al-Ohali was the executive vice president, manufacturing. He was earlier the CEO of the Sabic Europe group. He has also held various positions in Sabic as vice-president, specialty products and vice-president, fertilisers. He is also vice-chairman of the Saudi Petrochemical Company (Sadaf, a joint venture between Sabic and Shell).

Al-Ohali graduated from King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals, where he gained a Master’s degree in chemical engineering.
