Mubarraz revamp tender prepared

Saudi Aramco has invited companies to express interest by late November for an estimated $75 million lump-sum procure and build contract to optimise oil production at the Mubarraz area in the Eastern Province.

The contract covers the installation of 30 kilometres of in-field pipelines between gas-oil separation plants (GOSPs) 1, 2, 6, 7 and 8 at Uthmaniyah, a water/oil separator and three salt water disposal (SWD) pumps at GOSP 7, a water/oil separator, two SWD pumps and piping at GOSP 8, six multi-phase flow meters at GOSPs 1, 2 and 6 and a trunkline between GOSP 1 and the oil production header at GOSP 8.

Aramco plans to issue a tender in January, with a 30-day bidding period.
