The company emerged as the low bidder for the work in December.
The project covers the addition of 180 million gallons of capacity to the reservoir. It is due to be completed in April 2009.
Other bidders for the contract included Oman’s Gulf Petrochemical Services & Trading and India’s Nagarjuna Construction Company. Dubai Electricity & Water Authority is the client (MEED 17:12:07).
