Nabil Ibrahim
Position: Chancellor, Abu Dhabi University (ADU)
Biography: Nabil Ibrahim was appointed chancellor of ADU in December 2007. He had previously been vice-chancellor for academic affairs and chief academic officer at the US Purdue University, Calumet.
He has also worked at San Jose State University and Bradley University in the US, and the University of Manitoba in Canada. Throughout his career, Ibrahim has raised more than $20m in research and development grants, served as principal investigator on 35 technical projects, written publications and presented at conferences, and developed laboratories.
He has a bachelor of science degree in engineering from Cairo University and a doctorate from Canadas McMaster University.
