Nasair launches flights to Abu Dhabi

22 April 2008
Saudi low-cost carrier Nasair has launched a service to Abu Dhabi, with four flights a week to the emirate.

The airline, part of the National Air Services (NAS) aviation group, launched the service between Abu Dhabi and Saudi Arabia on 21 April.

Husain Nalkhanday, managing director at the airline, says the route should boost commercial ties between Abu Dhabi and Riyadh, but that the route will mainly cater for pilgrim traffic.
