National Contracting wins three contracts worth $55m

The local National Contracting Company (NCC) has won three contracts worth SR204m ($55m) for transmission projects in Saudi Arabia.

The first contract is for the connection of the number 9025 substation in West Qassimto the 132-kV transmission grid. The project is worth SR79m and is due to be completed in October 2010.

Under a second contract, NCC will build a new 115/13kV substation at West Khobar. Construction on the SR 65m scheme is scheduled for completion in October 2011.

NCC also won a contract to build a 132/13.8kV substation in the Al-Oraijah district of Riyadh. The SR60m project will be completed in October 2011.
