Emaar Properties has extended the deadline for contractors seeking work on two towers in the Downtown Dubai area
Dubai-listed Emaar Properties has extended the deadline for contractors to submit bids for its $200m Boulevard Heights project in Dubai.
The new deadline is 1 September after contractors requested a one month extension.
The project, which is being developed near Downtown Dubais Opera District, will be made up of two towers at 52 and 47 stories, comprising up to 500 apartments.
The project is set for completion in 2018.
The consultant is the local Group Consult International.
Emaar also recently held a briefing with selected contractors to discuss tendering for the 928-metre-plus tall tower it plans to build at its Dubai Creek Harbour development.
The consultants working on the tower scheme are Spanish architect Santiago Calatrava Valls and the local office of consultancy Aurecon, which is being supported by the UKs RMJM.
