Iran has discovered a new field with giant gas reserves in the south of the country, according to the Iranian oil minister, Fars News has reported. The minister clarified that the new field, named 'Sefid', has 70 bln cubic meters of in-place gas reserves. The new field is located east of Iran's southern port city of Bushehr and west of the major port city of Bandar Abbas.
