New hotel planned for Jumeirah

At least five contractors submitted bids in late December for the estimated AED 300 million ($82 million) contract to build a new five-star luxury hotel on Jumeirah Beach road. The hotel will include around 300 rooms, restaurant outlets and associated entertainment facilities.
At least five contractors submitted bids in late December for the estimated AED 300 million ($82 million) contract to build a new five-star luxury hotel on Jumeirah Beach road. The hotel will include around 300 rooms, restaurant outlets and associated entertainment facilities.

The bidders for the estimated 24-month contract include: Dubai Contracting Company (DCC); Al-Basti & Muktha (ABM), also local; and Lebanon's Arabian Construction Company (ACC).

Located next to Le Meridien Seyahi, the development will have a built-up area of 69,800 square metres. The scope of works includes the structures, mechanical, electrical and plumbing (MEP) works and the interior decoration package.

The client is a local private investor. The consultant is the local Archon Engineering Consultants.
