New licence criteria for physicians in UAE

27 July 2010

The Dubai Health Authority (DHA) has issued new criteria for physicians and dentists in the emirate, Khaleej Times has reported. The new regulations will require candidates to be proficient in English language skills and attend and pass an evaluation of their competency to practise. The dentist licensure guidelines regulations are based on similar ones being followed by Dubai Healthcare City and Health Authority of Abu Dhabi.
