Oman Air has announced plans to retrofit three Airbus A330s with in-flight connectivity, and said the service might be brought to its Boeing 737NG narrowbodies, Air Transport Intelligence has reported. The service will enable passengers aboard the A330s to use their cell phones and internet by the end of January 2010. Oman's three earlier deliveries of A330s will also offer the services during summer 2010, and all future Oman A330s will be equipped with SBB-supported connectivity, the airline's CEO Peter Hill said.
