Oman's central bank has urged banks' customers in the country to ensure the veracity of enquiries they receive through email, Times of Oman has reported. The warning follows reports about some customers who responded to electronic fraudulent enquiries, and shared their accounts, passwords and other confidential information, enabling the fraudsters to withdraw money from their accounts.
