
Petroleum Development Oman to install condensate recovery facilities at two gas plants
Petroleum Development Oman (PDO) is preparing to prequalify companies to bid on a gas-processing project in northern Oman, the company has disclosed.
The national oil company is planning to install facilities for condensate recovery maximisation at the Saih Rawl central processing plant and Saih Nihayda gas plant in Ash-Sharqiyah governorate.
PDO will send out the prequalification documents to interested companies on 30 April with the deadline for submission set for 23 June.
PDO is 60 per cent owned by the government of Oman, with the UK/Dutch Shell Group, France’s Total and Portugal’s Partex owning the rest of the shares.
