Project will increase capacity of Jebel Ali industrial and speciality chemicals storage
UAE-based Petrochem has floated the tenders for the expansion of its chemical storage facilities in Jebel Ali Free Zone, Dubai, according to a source working on the project.
Companies have been asked to submit engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) bids for the project, which includes the construction of four tanks, pipelines, warehouse facilities and associated works.
Petrochem hired UK-based engineering group Atkins to carry out a feasibility study on the project.
The company specialises in logistics for a variety of industrial and speciality chemicals, with operations in Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Doha.
