Danish company will build and operate facility with offtake used in hydrocarbons and water sectors
Denmark’s Phoenix International has been awarded a contract to build and operate a pipeline factory in Iraq.
The plant will cost $86m to build and on completion will manufacture pipes that will be used in the oil and gas and water sectors.
The factory will be built at Umm Qasr, a port city located in southern Iraq and Phoenix International have a 35-year lease on the facility.
