Local developer Plus Properties has awarded the local Taahud General Contracting Company a AED400m contract to build the SkyGardens project on Reem island in Abu Dhabi.
The project involves the construction of apartment buildings and villas. Hong Kong-based James Law is the architect.
The contract is the latest to be awarded on Reem island. Last month China-based Beijing Construction Engineering Group was picked for the estimated $545m contract to build the Dari and Aurora tower projects for Kuwait’s Mayadeen Gulf Real Estate. Cansult Maunsell, part of US-based Aecom is the project manager (MEED 7:1:08).
