The first two contracts, valued at $14 million each, involve rotor and power plant refurbishment work on Frame-5 turbines at Taji. Last year MJB completed a $7 million servicing and rehabilitation contract at the 175-MW Taji plant (MEED 22:10:00).

The third contract, valued at $6 million, is for the refurbishment, servicing and maintenance of generating facilities at the Halleh power plant. MJB’s former UK partner – John Brown Engineering – converted the Halleh plant’s turbines from oil to gas in 1988.
