Description: The QFIS is a profoundly spiritual building that communicates and imparts Islamic values and education in a setting that is both modern and progressive. The scheme provides education and teaching space and also houses the Education City campus mosque. The narrative of the QFIS is underscored by the metaphor of ‘knowledge and light’, which is manifested through the ‘infinite’ form of the building plan and the many pathways that bind faculty and teaching space (knowledge) to the mosque (light).
