Profit on increased loans, financing activities and deposits
Qatar National Bank (QNB) has posted a 41.5 per cent increase in third quarter net profit on increased loans, financing activities and deposits, Reuters has reported. Net profit in the three months leading up to September 30 rose to QR1.5bn ($412m) compared to QR1.06bn in the third-quarter of 2009. The bank posted a net profit of QR4.2bn for the first nine months of the year.
