Raffles Hotels and Resorts has appointed John Pelling as general manager of Raffles Dubai. The hotel opened in 2007 and was the chain's first property to open in the Middle East. Prior to joining Raffles Dubai, he was Regional Vice President, China, for Swissôtel Hotels & Resorts where he had oversight of the group's portfolio and new developments within China.
